A Pleasant Surprise
Sometimes God’s provision arrives before we realize how much we’ll need it.

Yesterday didn’t unfold the way I expected.
Dad’s caregiver, Courtney, called in.
I assumed I was on my own for four days instead of the three we had planned.
Then Visiting Angels called.
They had found someone to cover Courtney’s normal shift.
It felt like God had quietly made a way before I even knew I would need it.
Those few hours gave me much-needed time to work on my sales letter class.
I didn’t get as far as I had hoped.
But I made progress.
Sometimes we spend so much energy preparing for the worst that we forget God is still arranging unexpected help along the way.
Yesterday was a reminder that not every surprise makes the day harder.
Some remind us we’re not carrying it alone.
